Breast cancer prevention programme---
Mammography tests are performed:
- every 24 months for women aged 50 to 69;
- every 12 months for women aged 50 to 69 whose family members have suffered from breast cancer (mother, sister or daughter) or mutations within the scope of BRCA 1 or BRCA genes.
In case of an incorrect result of a mammography test the woman is referred to the specialist stage of the programme in which further diagnosis of mutations is made.
